When we first met, Dani has not decided wheter to ask for a loaptop or a tandem skydiving.

After some chatting he went for the latter one which made me very happy for there has not been such an extreme wish in the history of the Fundation so far.

We started organizing...

Edina Lakatos, spokeswoman for FGSZ Zrt. Helepd us to get in touch with the members of „Vörös Meteor Ejtoernyos Sport Klub” (a skydiving club) and they helped us to make this wish come true

The experienced skydivers, Varga Péter tandempilot, Váradi Tamás and Petho Attila cameramen excitedly prepared for the event and Kiss György president for the club supported them.

Originally we planned the dive for Saturday morning at 11:00, but due to bad weather we had to postpone it. In the afternoon at 2, we got to kaposújlak airport.

Whilst we were waiting for the good weather, wind, we chated, laughed a lot trying to eas the tention before the big moment.
We checked out the airplane during which Dani and Peter agreed on the moves and signes to be used and carried out while diving. I accompained Dani on the plane, which was a great adventure for me too, for I had the oportunity to experience free fall.
Peter and his two frieds take every second of Dani’s dive on camera in the sparkling sunshine. When they landed, we and Dani’s parents ran to meet the hero boy. You should have seen Dani’s face! It was shining of happynes.

I think it was an unforgetable moment for all.
On the way back home we travelled together till Siofok. Although Dani was bit tired, he happily reported his experiences during the dive. The almos one minute long free fall made a great impression on him, just like the moments just before landing when he was allowed to controll the parrashute.

Csodalampa wishes all the best for this brave boy.

On the 24th of August we were accompained with the representative of the donator, Mrs Nikolits, Magdolna, we took the present to Kada. He had no idea why we wanted to see him before his examination with a big box, but when he saw the front of the box he excitedly shouted:

“- I thought about exactly the same dino!!”

Finally he said goodbye to us with a big smile on his face and we hope this toy will help Kada through the process of healing.

It began with tha sad fact that Stefi was late.
When she let us know her wish, it was the day after Mr. Satriani’s concert and he had already been far away… However Stefi didn’t wish anything else, she would rather wait. And in the meantime she was assiduously learning to play guitar.

When it turned out that there would be a G3 concert in the summer of 2012, we began to take action. Thanks to the help of the organizer of the concert Showtime Budapest Stefi could meet not only Joe Satriani but his other two world-famous partners, Steve Vai and Steve Morse before the concert began.

All the three musicians were very nice to Stefi, who was slightly embarrassed, but finally she could change a few senteces with them. At the end of the conversation Steve Vai came to Stefi and wished her strenght and good health to fight the illness totally and to play guitar.

Showtime gave Stefi the latest albums and DVD of Satriani, that were dedicated by the musician on the spot and she also got dedicated guitar picks from Mr. Vai and Mr. Morse.

After that they showed us to our seats and the sold-out concert with Steve Morse’s band soon began and lasted for more than 4 hours.

We needed a lot of tickets to enter the car race.We got a lot of help from Mr. Gyulai Zsolt who is the the president-director of Hungaroring Sport Zrt. and from Mr. Szekeres Pál the deputy under-secretary of state for sport.

Unfortunately Emese could visit only the car race with her family but the boys saw the box-street, preparations, in which the Red Bull Racing team gave us a great help.

The 5 families arrived from the different parts of Hungary so they arrived earlier before the the beginning and they were waiting for the bus of Red Bull exiting. Ms Nagy Bernadett and Mr. Marcus Prosser showed us over the "world of wonder". The kids could admired the "miracle saddle-horses" they saw Schumacher ans Alonso from a short distance. The children continuously mentioned the famous teams, races,places and of course the dates, too.

We arrived as a special suprise for Benedek, as he was still recuperating from a pretty unpleasent treatment.

He was still a little bit dizzy when we handed him the desired laptop. He sat up and started to examine it. WIth the help of our sponsor he powered up the computer, the only thing left was to think about a new password.
He gave an unusual answer when we asked, how will he use the "magic-engine":
- I will look for recipes. The best recipes from Judit Stahl!
His mother told us that Benedek wishes to be a chef, he loves to cook with his father, and when he grows up he would like to start a restaurant.

Bence`s wish has been fullfilled, thanks to Tchibo`s and Csodalámpa Alapítvány`s commited staff. He is now a happy owner of a great guitar and a belonging amplifier.

Tchibo was represented by Fodor Agnes at the donation. Bence got a pick and a guitar music-paper from her as a separate present.
Now everything is given for him to be able to learn how to play guitar. Also the family music band can be set up, as both Bence`s sibling and mother are playing on an instrument.

We hope you will enjoy playing guitar to the fullest and will go to the guitar lessons diligently.

Peter is a great football fan. Valencia is his favorite team. He and his friends have been planning to cheer on top of their voice for their favorites in their home land for a long time. It seems that everything is ready for their trip to Valencia next spring. One last „mandatory” prerequisite, Peti’s dream, came available with the help of Csodalampa.

Peti asked Jinny for a Valencia T-shirt, but not for an ordinary one! Speaking to this young man I learned (Jinny always learns) that the team always wares white, playing home for this used to be the original colour of Valencia. Knowing this, it was not an option that Peti would cheer in a red, blue or yellow Valencia T-shirt. No, and no. At home it is only correct to cheer in white. And if the name and lucky number of the biggest fan -Peter- happens to be printed on the back of the T-shirt, then the final score of the match is unquestionable.

We would like to say thanks for the support of E.ON ZRt.

Brenda is only 4 years old, but she has to fight her illness, although she'd just like to play peacefully like any other little girls. Brenda had a definite idea what to ask from the foundation: she asked for a purple swing and a yellow slide with a small playhouse in their garden in Hetényegyháza, near Kecskemét.

It was Friday when we arrived at their house with the staff of Tchibo Ltd. In the garden there were many people waiting for the joy of Brenda. Mr. Norbert Szilágyi had already made many other small playgrounds on request of “wonder lamp kids”, so we could be assured that Brenda got a game of a high quality.

Four colleagues of Tchibo Ltd and Ági Szijjártó communications manager were busy to put the parts together, so the playhouse was ready in a short time. First Brenda looked at it timidly, and then she started to explore the wonder game together with his father. A few minutes later the little girl cheerfully slipped down the yellow slide.

Brenda, we all wish you that you should get well soon to enjoy the new playground together with your friends from the kindergarten.

What could be a greater joy for a boy, who on his way to the hospital in Debrecen always admires the toy in the shop on the wayside, than finding the same one in his very own garden!

But to get there, Csodalámpa along with the parents had to use a lot of tricks. On the location Róbert Káré and István Soós, the co-workers of Tchibo were helping in the preparation!

In order to make it look like it has just grown out from the ground –the towery toy shown on the picture- also the grandmothers living in the near had to be involved. They were looking after little Balázs, while the toy was being set up in the backyard. When it was ready, the new Owner showed up! And like he couldn’t believe his own eyes –but still keeping an eye on the towery wonder, being afraid that it might disappear – he exclaimed „I love you Dad!” and cuddled in his fathers loving arms.

From this calm position he inspected it thoroughly, then seized it...and shortly from the top of the slide he yelled „Watch everybody!” then slid down...and again..and again...

We left with a picture of a joyfully playing, happy little boy...”

2012. 18th of May, Nyírbogát.

Gergo came through his operation and half of his treatments. He wished for an X-Box, which he received from the Tchibo company, in the presence of Zoltán Tóth who was there as representative. All of this happened on a day of spring.

Our small team went to their apartment to deliver the long waited present. Gergo's parents and his twin siblings were at the handover as well. He was very escited and could hardly wait for the game to start up. We had to put our heads together for setting it up, and the process of installation was a bit challenging as well. One of the twins were always around us. At the end we succeeded to start it up and the game could finally begin!

Since then the X-Box became an every day activity and training for Gergo. Why a training? Becasue the Kinect gadget requires physical activity to get from one level to another. This time we cannot say that this game is not useful.

The wish of the 9 year old Bence was to have a laptop on his own. When we asked him what would he use it for and was he able to handle it, he looked at us with wondering eyes and then told us in a naturally evident manner, that of course. On that important day Bence arrived for checkups to the Children's Clinic on Bókay Street. Afterwards his way lead to the Hilton Budapest Hotel. He didn't really understand his parents' and his little sibling's presence. Later on he was happily nibbling cookies and talking to the hosts in a short-spoken way. At one point the room got full with nice ladies and friendly gentlemen.

Uncle Pali and Balazs gave him the big packet, which "hide" the laptop. He easily opened the wrapping and booted the laptop right away. For his surprise there where quite a few games already installed on it. He started playing with one of them right away.

We really hope that this nice present will help Bence's full recovery. We wish him to get well as soon as possible.

Rami spent her days at home since she has finished her treatments and the radiotherapy. Her wish was an outdoor wooden playground which included a little house as well.

Already when she was making the wish she claimed that she would really like the kindergarten teacher and me to be there at the delivery. We arrived earlier than the play house itself and we got a very warm welcome. Rami’s cousins were also really looking forward to this mirace.

They welcomed Norbi - who manufactures and delivers these playgrounds - with a big ovation. With the help of the men present they quickly got down and put the parts together. We all stood around the finished structure and gladly watched the happy play of Rami and her cousins.

Luca (12), Dominika (13) and Patrik (11) are close each other not only in age but in dreams as well. All of them would like to get to Disneyland. This time we were placed in the wild-west small town style building of Hotel Cheyenne.

After we have taken our rooms we saw the Studio of the park at first. We could have an insight into the world of the Disney characters. At the first performance we celebrated Minnie’s birthday with the main figures, and then there was an incredibly interesting history film about the development of movie in the Cinematique projection room. Immediately one of the lookers-on has been moved into the Prehistory of Cinema, in the world of the silent films. From there he came to nowadays on odyssey. He has been everywhere and has fought from the Once Upon a Time in the West to Star Wars, and his lover from the silent film has gone with him. It’s true that anyone couldn’t do anything with his mobile phone over the movies, they just wondered it and also that he has returned to us finally, but the love has won regarding to the Hollywood model. After the movie we have spent lots of hours in the park. Naturally we haven’t missed Aladdin and his magic carpet either. Children have sat all rotary games on.

Next early morning we have been on date with Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and the dwarfs and Pinocchio. A lot of photos were taken about the castle. Then we rolled in the cups from the Beauty and the Beast, flied with Dumbo, looked for the way out from Alice’s Wonderland and requested autographs from several tale heroes. We have lived through incredible adventures. We sailed in a cave (Pirates of the Caribbean) and followed to Tom Sawyer (Thunder Messa Riverboat) flew with Peter Pan over London, traveled by roller coaster in the Big Thunder Mountain and Phantom Manor’s skeletons threatened us.

The highlight of the day was the Parade, where the famous Disney characters were singing, dancing in the Main Street. The day flew over so fast that we have almost forgotten to lunch, dinner, but fortunately, Patrick has always reminded us of the importance of eating… The lunch was very delicious in the Pirates of Caribbean Restaurant.

Naturally all children from Csodalampa have received gifts: T-shirts, caps, fridge magnets. At 8 o’clock we were very tired, but when we heard that there will be fireworks and light show on the wall of the Palace at 10, there was no question to stay. If it is possible to crown a day we managed to! This was a fantastic experience because all Disney figures presented, danced and sang on the towers and the gate of the Palace.

When the show was finished, Patrik was on mettle, because his first question was still which games we would sit on. With Dominika and Luca we answered „to the bus”.

In early morning on Sunday we travelled to Paris by bus, walked around a lot, participated in a Seine voyage, therefore the group could get a little taste of one of the most beautiful city of Europe as well.

Seeing the happy faces of children and parents, we hope that Luca, Dominica and Patrick will get well soon, and now we also know that not only Paris, but Disneyland is well worth a mass.

At the first performance we celebrated Minnie’s birthday with the main figures, and then there was an incredibly interesting history film about the development of movie in the Cinematique projection room. Immediately one of the lookers-on has been moved into the Prehistory of Cinema, in the world of the silent films. From there he came to nowadays on odyssey. He has been everywhere and has fought from the Once Upon a Time in the West to Star Wars, and his lover from the silent film has gone with him. It’s true that anyone couldn’t do anything with his mobile phone over the movies, they just wondered it and also that he has returned to us finally, but the love has won regarding to the Hollywood model. After the movie we have spent lots of hours in the park. Naturally we haven’t missed Aladdin and his magic carpet either. Children have sat all rotary games on.

Next early morning we have been on date with Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and the dwarfs and Pinocchio. A lot of photos were taken about the castle. Then we rolled in the cups from the Beauty and the Beast, flied with Dumbo, looked for the way out from Alice’s Wonderland and requested autographs from several tale heroes. We have lived through incredible adventures. We sailed in a cave (Pirates of the Caribbean) and followed to Tom Sawyer (Thunder Messa Riverboat) flew with Peter Pan over London, traveled by roller coaster in the Big Thunder Mountain and Phantom Manor’s skeletons threatened us.

The highlight of the day was the Parade, where the famous Disney characters were singing, dancing in the Main Street. The day flew over so fast that we have almost forgotten to lunch, dinner, but fortunately, Patrick has always reminded us of the importance of eating… The lunch was very delicious in the Pirates of Caribbean Restaurant.

Naturally all children from Csodalampa have received gifts: T-shirts, caps, fridge magnets. At 8 o’clock we were very tired, but when we heard that there will be fireworks and light show on the wall of the Palace at 10, there was no question to stay. If it is possible to crown a day we managed to! This was a fantastic experience because all Disney figures presented, danced and sang on the towers and the gate of the Palace.

When the show was finished, Patrik was on mettle, because his first question was still which games we would sit on. With Dominika and Luca we answered „to the bus”.

In early morning on Sunday we travelled to Paris by bus, walked around a lot, participated in a Seine voyage, therefore the group could get a little taste of one of the most beautiful city of Europe as well.

Seeing the happy faces of children and parents, we hope that Luca, Dominica and Patrick will get well soon, and now we also know that not only Paris, but Disneyland is well worth a mass.

Laura’s wish could be fulfilled only after the second try because she did not feel strong enough for the trip last fall. Her dream was a trip to Paris. She wanted to see the Louvre and the pyramid, meet Mona Lisa , to sail on the Seine, pull the edge of the skirt of the old lady ( Eiffel Tower ), look around from the Montparnasse tower, walk the streets and listen to the French discussions or to the musicians and singers on the subway and to enjoy the pulse of the city.

As I noticed , she and her mother also accomplished this, even though it was only 3 brief days. Laura was blooming from Saturday through Tuesday afternoon, always smiling.

Reading novels and watching movies we could imagine what a tremendous moment can be like. Experiencing such moments may never be given to many or only once in a lifetime. I have gained such twice. It was a gift to see the smile of Laura 's mother in the St. Chapelle chapel, and the phrase she whispered: if anything goes wrong in the future, she will just close her eyes and imagine the church and Laura in Notre Dame . Lighting a candle in the dark the time almost stopped, as we were sitting beneath the famous rose window and enjoying the silence and peace and listening to the beautiful singing. Here we could forget the illness and the pain, all that has been lost in the past, and we knew everything will be over and everything will go back to normal. I hope that this couple of days spent together will give a lot of strength and bring joy to Laura and her family , and also that she will soon completely recover.
