Gábor contacted our foundation with an unusual request. He said he knew that children usually ask for other types of presents, but due to the fact that he and his family live in a very poor region, he would really like to be given a shower cabin where he can take a shower comfortably.

Certainly the Magic Lamp Foundation granted this rather special wish, bringing joy to a sick child living in difficult circumstances.

Boglárka used to go to kindergarten until she became ill and was hospitalised.

She missed her brothers, her dad and her little friends from the kindergarten very much. So, she asked the Magic Lamp to find a way to bring somehow all the people she loves to the hospital...

The Genie of the Magic Lamp fulfilled her wish by giving a tablet to Boglárka as a means to contact her loved ones from home.

It was so touching to see the joy on her face when she saw her brothers and father, and then her kindergarten teachers and classmates on the screen of the tablet.
The little friends said they were looking forward to seeing her back at kindergarten and wished her a speedy recovery!

Tamara is a smiling, energetic, lively little girl.

We met Tamara in the afternoon at the hospital after her treatment. Her excitement and joy were overwhelming when she saw her present in the red bag.

She asked for a laptop from the Magic Lamp because she can return to the school from September, but only for a few days a week. With this laptop, she can continue her education online during the rest of her school sessions.

Due to the long treatment in hospital, we could meet Nóri and her family on a late afternoon in August. The parents told us that Nóri had been longing for a playground of her own. Nóri's joy was overwhelming when she finally got it. She was excited to help the parents to put it together. We were told that Nóri is glad to use her own playground every day when she can be at home and not in the hospital.

I was touched by the story of this little girl and her family. I am glad that I could be that volunteer who had the opportunity to meet the family and Nóri, thanks to the sponsor and the foundation.

The family is very grateful for the wish fulfillment because now they can see their little girl to be really happy!

Liliána - due to her illness - had to continue her studies as a private student. She could only borrow an old, heavy laptop but she wished to have a modern, new one on her own.

We visited the girl and gave her the present from the Csodalámpa Foundation. She was very glad to receive her brand new laptop that she can take with her wherever she goes. She can use this laptop for studying, watching movies as well as chatting with friends.

We wish you a pleasant time and hope the laptop will contribute to a successful exam next year!

Istvan’s wish was a smart TV in his room.

He is more than delighted to have the new TV, because he can now enjoy his favourite films, as well as the European Football Championship on a big screen and he can even use the internet.

Áron - like all teenagers - loves sports. Unfortunately, now he doesn't have the opportunity to play outdoor sports, so he asked for a gym machine to do strengthening exercises and to keep him fit.

Áron is very happy that his wish has been fulfilled in such a short time.

Boglárka loves to swing, so we made her very happy with this lovely hammock chair, in which she can comfortably swing and relax. In good weather she can swing outside in the fresh air, but in bad weather she can also use it indoors.

Virág has been wating for long for her dream come true. She had a special wish, a puppy. After her doctor gave the permission for it we immediately started to search for the puppy in order to make Virág happy as soon as possible.

Surprisingly after only a few weeks, we found Lola, a gold-coloured golden retriever puppy. Lola is a real perpetuum mobile dog who couldn’t wait to arrive in her new home, just like her new owner.

We tried to make it a surprise for Virág but we couldn’t keep the secret for long. The new dog owner almost overflew with excitement. We could hardly get out of the car when she already arrived and took the puppy into her arms happily. Of course, Lola was running in the garden soon, she climbed the stairs, stumbled impatiently and waited for the delicious treats.

Virág, we wish your puppy will boost your healing process a 100 times!

Efrahim is fond of animals and he has a pony at home.
His wish was a laptop on which he can study, watch movies and play games. The Djinn of the Magic Lamp managed to surprise Efrahim with his wish during a check-up.
His eyes and smile told us how much joy we could give him with this laptop.

Csenge had to pass long weeks at the hospital. She has a creative hobby, she draws wonderful pictures even pen drawings.

As she has to go to aftercare for some time more she asked for a laptop that she can put to good use for home learning.

Attila wished a laptop from Magic Lamp's Gini as for the long clinic treatments he wanted a "gadget" for learning and for staying in contact with friends and family. As soon as the ban on visiting pediatric clinics was lifted I was able to meet him in person. When he saw the red bag with the Magic Lamp logo and the big box in it he immediately knew it was for him. He thanked me with a happy smile. He promised that learning will be as important as having fun with the laptop.

I wished Attila fast recovery.

Niko is a little boy who loves cartoons. He asked Csodalámpa for a tv to watch his favorite cartoons on a big screen.

We met him on his way home from the hospital after one of his treatments. He fell asleep in the car and when he woke up, he was surprised to see his wish right before his eyes.

Dominik loves listening to music. As he is visually impaired, he asked for a tablet with a large display.

After installing it, he immediately started listening to his favourite music.

Balázs is a very polite boy. Whenever we go to his ward, he always pays attention to us. He enjoys learning and participating in different games
and craft activities. But, like many other teenagers, he really prefers the online space. His favourites include various computer car games.

So I wasn't really surprised when he asked the Magic Lamp Foundation for an X BOX game. We were talking about his wish and I recorded it in the database. A short time later, the Foundation informed me that Balázs's
present was on the way.

The surprise of the day was THIS. When I went to see Balázs, he had no idea that his wish would come true so soon. It is hard to describe in words his surprise and joy:

"Thank you so much! I am so happy! It can't be true, so soon!"

Roberto was very happy when he got his red bike.

Although he looks a little bit shy in the photo, as soon as the camera was switched off, he enjoyed riding his new bike - this time in the living room because of the rain. By then he didn't even want to get off the bike.

A long-desidered dream of a little girl came true when she received an electric car from the Magic Lamp Foundation.

Zoé was very surprised. At first she was just admiring the new, beautiful red car, then she seated her big teddy bear next to her and took it for a drive.

We thank the Henkel Hungary Ltd. for their support, with their help we managed to put a smile on a sick child's face again!

Orsolya's wish was a new bed that would be fancier and more comfortable than the old one. Besides buying the bed, we found out what her favourite fairy tale was ... and the Genie of the Magic Lamp conjured bed linen and even a cute doll to make the new bed as friendly and funny as possible.
