I am Dr. András Vizy, father of one child. I work as a pediatric surgeon at the Szeged Children's Clinic. Since 2014 I have completed 11 official half-marathons, and 1 full one. This year I got infected with the triathlon bug, so on July 30th I am participating in the IRONMAN 70.3 race. In my work I get in contact with many kids. Some of them unfortunately suffer from long-term illnesses and can use a miracle in addition to their medical treatments. As a member of the Run for the Szeged Pediatric Surgery ward, I have been a charity runner for a year, but at the IRONMAN event I am running to support Magic Lamp, and to help a child in need in my region.
