I never ever did any sports, let alone run:)
About 2 months ago suddenly a thought emerged in my mind. I should start exercising now that I am slowly approaching 40. So now or never... I will get my act together! And if exercise, than the simplest and most obvious is jogging. Fresh air, nature, freedom! I improved quickly and soon I was able to run a few kilometers. I was so proud of myself that I quickly signed up for a race that I figured I could finish one way or another. I have chosen the IRONGIRL 6km race. I have started following their Facebook page, where I stumbled upon the opportunity offered by Magic Lamp. I am a kooky creature anyway.:) I had no excuse. Since I am participating in the race anyway, why not do it for a good cause. Why not help if I can? If, just with exercising, I can help making children happy? Helping in making their dreams come through, and bringing smile onto their faces in the most difficult times of their lives. Is there a nobler cause? I have additional motivation now. Beside proving myself in the race, I can bring happiness to children who need it so much. Seemingly small things can mean a lot to them!
I am proud to be a Magic Bug! For them! Please join me! Be a Magic Bug too! Or help me bring on many many smiles. Adopt the kilometers I do for them. I am running for them:)
